About the role
You will manage purchases and sales of a range of steel products such as plates, beams, blooms, slabs, hot rolled coils, billets etc. You will establish and deliver sourcing plans with targeted customers and build strong relationship with quality suppliers and retaining long term customers. You will provide market information, production and delivery schedules, contractual arrangement and assist in claims resolution. You will also keep abreast of market movements and trends.
About you
You will have 5 years of commercial success in promoting and increasing the quality and quantity of steel products and raw materials in a trading environment in Indonesia. You will have a good knowledge of the steel and raw materials (iron ore & coal) industry and have a wide network of customer-base in the region. You have a strong understanding of contract law, drafting and interpretation and shipping requirements. You have the ability to operate effectively independently and possess strong influencing and skills at all levels in a corporate environment. You will also have excellent language skills in English, both verbal and written.
