We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading retail companies, which is seeking the very highest quality individual to fill the position of Human Resources Director, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate will guide and manage the overall provision of HR services, policies and programs for the company.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Report directly to the COO
- Act as the face of HR for the company
- Provide information and reports in a range of areas, including staff turnover, references, costs per hire and training hours per person
- Recruiting and staffing
- Performance management and improvement systems
- Organization development
- Employee orientation, development and training
- Policy development and documentation
- Employee relations
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related field or a combination of equivalent work experience (Master’s degree is preferred)
- Female is preferred
- Previous experience at the senior HR managerial level with a reputable company or companies
- Eight years’ experience (min.)
- Hands on
- Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
- Must be comfortable working in a standalone environment
- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and commonsense approach
