One of the leading joint-venture general insurance companies in Indonesia is looking for a professional for the position of Training Manager. They are looking for an ambitious person with innovative ideas in developing agents to achieve challenging sales targets. The winning candidate will be analytical, result-driven, have a strong attention to detail and be able to discover unseen talents and develop them.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Cooperation with GM Marketing to identify training needs
  • Responsibility for end-to-end training for agents
  • Developing and implementing performance management systems that will measure and manage operation performance
  • Assess the content and delivery of training programs and evaluate the effectiveness of the training
  • Manage the training budget
  • Develop and deliver the infrastructure to support all training and development
  • Establish standardized methodology and procedures for training
  • Select and monitor internal and external trainers and vendors to deliver consistent training programs and services
  • Develop, maintain and distribute status learning and development reports
  • Conduct market surveys to determine the best strategies for people development


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (min.)
  • Five years’ experience (min.) in field of training, including course design, development and adult education/learning styles
  • Experience in people development, talent management and organizational behavior is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the current and emerging training tools and learning aids
  • Experience in managing development and soft skills training
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of drive, energy and personal commitment to success
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Creative and analytical skills
